The seat is a solid oak blank, shaped and sanded by hand, with a slight dish so it stays comfortable without a cushion. The frame is 1 inch tube, fully welded and ground, with a 1/2 inch solid bar footrest welded through the legs rather than tacked onto the outside.
Built at 26 inches for standard counters. Bar height is 30 inches. Both are stocked sizes, so a set of four ships in about four weeks rather than eight.
Built to sit under the Cuyahoga table without crowding it. The frame is fully welded rather than bolted, so it will not rack when four people sit down at once — which is the failure mode of most benches.
Oak, walnut or reclaimed pine. Lengths from 48 to 96 inches.
Steel tube frame, TIG welded and dressed at every joint, with a solid walnut seat and back shaped to fit an actual person. No upholstery to sag or stain, and no fixings showing.
Because the frame is welded rather than knocked down, the chair does not develop the wobble that bolted furniture eventually finds. Sets of six and eight are the common order; we build them as a batch so the grain and the steel finish match across the set.
The same frame as the Seminole stool, built at bar height and finished in powder coat — the right call for a kitchen or a covered patio where blackened steel would keep you touching up the finish.
Standard colours are satin black, warm grey and bone. Bring us a sample and we will match it.
